Our Governors

Our governors play a vital role in the life and development of Our Lady and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. They bring their time, experience and commitment to supporting our school, helping us provide the best possible education for every child.

Working with school leaders, governors offer support and challenge, oversee the school’s strategic direction and help ensure that resources are used effectively. They uphold our Catholic ethos and our mission, “Searching faithfully for excellence.”

Foundation Governors have a particular responsibility to preserve and develop the school’s Catholic character. Their service is an important ministry within the Church, strengthening the partnership between school, families, parish and diocese.

To meet our governing body and find out more about their responsibilities, please visit our Governor Information page.

You can contact our governors through the school office by emailing school@olsj.org.uk. Please indicate that your message is for the governing body.
